Ocala Palms is a + 55 community located just west of the City of Ocala and I-75, nestled in the heart of the ‘Horse Capitol of the World’. Ocala Palms was developed by Venture & Associates. Construction began in 1993, with the last home being built in 2006.

Ocala Palms is a deed-restricted Planned Unit Development (PUD) community and does not have an HOA. Common property in the community (including the Clubhouse, all amenities, & roadways) are owned, maintained, & managed by Ocala Palms Operations LLC. (OPO). There are Covenants & Restrictions that the residents are required to abide by. A mandatory monthly assessment fee is paid by homeowners to OPO that provides the following to residents: usage of recreational amenities & clubhouse facilities, 24-hour Front Gate Privacy Attendant, once weekly curbside refuse collection, & the maintenance of the amenities and common properties within the community. At home sale closings, there is a one-time community orientation fee that is paid to OPO.

Homeland Optical Technology is the exclusive provider of cable television service in Ocala Palms, with it also offering high speed internet. A mandatory monthly covenant fee is to be paid by all new residents to Homeland Optical Technology for basic cable television service.

The Clubhouse is a 19,000 sq. ft. multiple use facility, that includes the Royal Palm Ballroom for activities, dances, meetings, and special events. Included within the primary Clubhouse, the two complex side buildings, and immediate common grounds area: Card Room – Billiards Room (6 tables) – Table Tennis Room – Arts & Crafts Room – Library –Conference Room - Catering Kitchen – Outdoor pool, spa, & sundeck area - Fitness Workout Center – Dart Room - Indoor Pool - 3 Tennis Courts, which includes 2 Pickle Ball set-ups within them - 6 Bocce Ball Courts - 6 Shuffleboard Courts - Horseshoe pit area.
